I would do Miller/Pryz/Rudy and first rounder for Harris/Morrow

Part of me is hesistent because of what Miller brings for us, but at the same time Harris is a good player in his own right and younger, but is a bit injury prone. In the end I would pull the trigger I think, but would be sad to send Miller.

I'm liking the sound of this...

Losing Miller would hurt...but just for this season. That deal is good enough to give him up.

Well I agree, but is getting a younger, but more injury prone player (especially when compared to Miller) better? It can be a high risk/high reward type thing potentially.

50% of all trade rumors seem to originate from a "source" within the Nets.

Do any of them ever happen? Remember the big Vince Carter rumor that people beat KP over the head with on this board? Still think that was a good deal, fictional or otherwise?

We got nothing for RLEC, so it would have been a good deal

Catfish has sucked badly in New Jersey, but if there is anywhere he might be comfortable and thus more likely to return to being a semi-productive player it might be here ... but damn I sure wouldn't want to bank on that.

As for doing the Harris/Miller plus others swap ... I think you have to do it. Harris is more of a scoring guard than a point guard, but he's at least adequate as a setup man and his timeline runs a little longer.

I don't love the trade, but I think it's prettty good for both sides.

    Bring in Kris Humphries!

Averaging nearly a double/double with a PER of 18 and still young at 25.

Got Andre Miller in a FA signing for RLEC. Did you forget about Miller? Also fucked over Utah by signing Millsap to a toxic RFA offer sheet for RLEC. Did you forget about that?

Also had Hedo bail on Portland for RLEC. I'm trying to forget about that. :)

I think we got Miller by not using the RLEC. I like what Rudy brings to the team in re: to chemistry. But I am ok trading him if Roy comes back. Miller however is a winner. And that would be a big loss. The jury is still out with Harris. LMA would be hurt the most with the loss of Miller. But the trade is intriguing

The RLEC for VC AND two first round picks? http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/090227 ,
Perhaps highly fictional, but yeah, that would've been a great deal.

I'm not much of a Harris fan.

And I like Outlaw, great guy. I wish him all the best but I'm not real excited about getting him back.

I'm not liking this trade rumor.

Outlaw is still only 26 and he's being used in the wrong role. Everyone knows Outlaw shouldn't be a starter.

I wouldn't jump up and down about it, but if taking back Travis gets you Harris you do it. You get a long term answer at PG and we know what kind of player Outlaw can be for the Blazers.
