That SI "quote" can't be found anywhere else on the internet. I'll believe Bryant's own words in an interview over a blurb on SI.com that isn't sourced. Of course, perhaps Kobe Bryant is lying. Either way, I'm not lying.
Yep. But I can guarantee it generated a few thousand hits on the Oregon live website. Most deals we hear about are dead by the time we hear about them.
I thought it was MIXUM that read between the lines. "If I would have known that I'd be in this situation, I wouldn't have signed my extension last year." I don't see any implication at all, just a factual, honest and understandable statement.
right, so the link that I provided in the bit you quoted me above where Kobe claims he's told coach K that he would have gone to UNC is Completely false. Like 100% false? STOMP
Magic Johson - 5 Michael Jordan - 6 Isiah Thomas/Joe Dumars - 2 Larry Bird - 3 Hakeem Olajuwon - 2 David Robinson/Tim Duncan - 4 (Duncan 2 w/out Robinson) Paul Pierce - 1 (Finals MVP) Dwyane Wade - 1 (Finals MVP)
right. I'm so absentminded that I mistook 4 different interviews from public figures and then happened to stumble across a link that backs me up. How convenient for me this is why I avoid you... I wish you would extend me the same courtesy STOMP
Agreed, Kevin "Bark like a dog" Garnett is a role player for them, he's a follower not a leader. That's why Minny never went anywhere with him.
I provided a link that shows Bryant in 2007 saying he would have went to Duke. I've yet to see anything that says he was admitted to UNC. Why does this make me the liar? We have differing quotes. If you don't like being challenged with actual quotes from the actual participant, then I suggest you do go back to ignoring me. As I said, maybe Bryant was lying. I don't know; I can only go by his words in an actual article.
STOMP, your own quote is the most relevant "Marty Blake Kobe Bryant UNC", or "Marty Blake Kobe Bryant Tar Heels" on Google. http://www.google.com/search?q=mart...l=&oq=&pbx=1&bav=on.1,or.&fp=d4a7e52ef0af3d83 http://www.google.com/search?q=mart...ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7SKPB_en Meanwhile, here is another result for "Kobe Bryant Duke", from 2002. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/preps/basketba/2002-05-08-bryant.htm
Ooh, can I play devil's advocate? Kareem Abdul Jabbar - 5 Scottie Pippen - 6 Robert Parish - 2 Clyde Drexler - 1 Shaquille O'Neal - 4 Kevin Garnett - 1 Pau Gasol - 2 Chauncy Billups - 1 This is fun!
