Really? I stand corrected. He became the starter the year after?

My favorite players of all time are, in no particular order, Magic Johnson, John Stockton, Arvidas Sabonis, Larry Bird and Dominique Williams.

I was wrong. He did start in the playoffs, including 3 games in the Finals.

He was terrible in those 3 starts, though.

    GmScores of 4.2, -1.6, and 4.5.

So, you were right about Harris starting in the playoffs, but man, he was brutal if you look at the basic and advanced stats.

We were both wrong, but right!

Thanks. To be fair, he was a 2nd year player and had some very nice games in the playoffs that year, even if not as a starter. So, MARIS claiming he never did anything for his teams is, as usual, off-target.

I think we can summarize it as - Harris is a good player, not a great player. And to put it in Maris friendly terms - he is no Sergio Rodriguez. Luckily, this works for both Maris and everyone else - as the interpretation is Maris dependent.

I was excited about the possibility of getting Harris. Not because he'd be an upgrade over Miller, but because he has one thing that Miller doesn't have; many years left in the NBA.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that Miller's game and past durability means he'll be more like Stockton. He can likely be effective for another three-five years. That's plenty of time to get a PGOTF.
