the fact kristin blake is talking trash and tj ford is the best we can do makes it downright suicidal
I believe that Rudy and a draft pick would get it done. It also would have the attractiveness to Minnesota because Rubio would like to play with Rudy again, so their chances of actually getting him over here to produce improve, which is a benefit that Aaron Brooks would not bring them.
lol @ any Blake talking trash... 17 minutes played 0-1 0 Rebounds 1 Assist. Armon Johnson had a better game.
One of the lesser talked about trades is one that I think we missed out on. The fact the Hornets got Landry for Marcus Thornton and used their trade exception to absorb his contract is something we could have easily done as well, and IMO, size for the bench should have been a priority this trade deadline.
Rudy won't go to MIN. And you really think MIN would rather have Rudy and mid-teen draft pick in a crap draft than Brooks? Okey-dokey.
Except Landry doesn't rebound or play defense. Does that sound like a four we want? What would you have given up for him?
Having too many talented players at one position is not a good thing for a team. Does Rudy have to approve a trade? I haven't heard anything about him having that in his contract. So if he doesn't like it, tough shit. How many players do want to go to Minnesota? The other thing you have to take into account is that Minnesota runs the triangle. The triangle is not a good offense for a ball dominant guard like Brooks. Sure he could probably play his role and hit his open jumpers the triangle creates. Any jump shooter can. But for Brooks game to work at it's best, he has to handle the rock.
Deals won't be announced until after they have been submitted to the league and received their approval. So we should put off the Cho tar and feathering until 2pm.
Just so I'm clear on this, it is your contention that a player that would request to be let go from his contract and a mid-teens, low 20s pick in a crap draft would be superior to you than Aaron Brooks. It's not quite so obvious to me.
Adelman didn't have a problem getting him to play defense. Besides, this team could use some bench scoring. The Blazer bench is so putrid, almost anybody who can actually play at an NBA level would be an upgrade.
I'm not convinced Cho is even the issue. I still think the "stand pat" decision was made above his pay grade.
