It all depends how much free time you have. An hour is a descent amount of time. Just doing laps as fast as you can, can be an a very affective work out.

    What swoop said.

During my workouts for university football (and surprisingly, rowing), they had us swimming in the pool to get cut and strong, quick.

I am just asking questions, because there are some people that can't get to a gym out there.

Using a pool can be great to keep fit and tone your whole body depending on what you do.

    Hi Evolution,
Well it depends upon the stamina also. For me I took 1 hour to do laps as fast as I could.
Swimming is one of the best cardio exercise and great exercise as it involves most of the body parts.
