Apparently Suns plan to file a complaint against the Blazers for allowing Frye to become a free agent without disclosing to the league about a potential shoulder problem. Details to follow.
ROFL! I assume that's parody. If you buy a used car and drive it 18 months, and then the transmission goes out, I don't know if you can blame the former owner.
Meanwhile NO is beating Chicago in Chicago by 3 mid way through the 3rd . . . without Paul. I can't figure out NO out this year.
jazz, hornets, okc LOSE of course memphis wins. they never lose anymore. houston likely beats kings. tomorrow suns vs rockets. somethings gotta give.
its strange though.... rockets and suns both made rebuilding moves yet still are fighting for playoffs.
Has anyone been paying attention to Philadelphia? They're 15-5 over their past 20 games and are just a game behind the Knicks for the 6th spot in the east. Looks like it's been a pretty soft schedule, but they do have wins over NY, ATL, and SAS, and none of the 5 losses have been to a team with a worse record than them. The rest of their month looks pretty tough--13 games in 23 days, including games v OKC, BOS, & ATL, and @ POR, MIA & CHI. If they can finish that stretch better than 7-6, I think Miami will need to be legitimately concerned about them as a first-round playoff draw.
johnhollinger Welcome to the world of +.500, Houston. First time all year. With 11 home and just six road games left, likely won't be last. less than 20 seconds ago v
I've noticed! They are really on a roll, which if it doesn't end soon, means they finish ahead of us.
They started out the year just plain awful. Like 3-13 or something. Things finally started to click and they get a ton of production off the bench. Doug Collins should be Coach of the Year.
Collins always does very well his first year, makes no progress the second year, and makes his players hate him for the part of his third year that he's still employed. By this time, TV commentators are trying to not say anything about the crazy look on his maniacal, stressed face, screwed in wrinkled pain, as he screams at people during games. Then he goes back on his meds and retires for a decade.
Over the last 10 games, we're 7-3. HOU and MEM also went 7-3. In other words, we haven't lost any ground to them.
In expected wins, New Orleans dropped to 8th place tonight. Memphis will finish 6th and Portland 7th, according to CoolStandings. Tonight we gained .7 of a win and Orlando lost .8 of a win. http://www.coolstandings.com/basket...sn=2010&col=expw&sort=desc&run=1068&sim=s&v=c
Totally random, but does anyone have the statistic for a teams' playoff series record against a team they lost the regular season series to?
