Not just because we beat a very good team; but how this team has bounced back from terrible losses. This game showed Roy possibly back in old form; but lets not get carried away. You don't know how much I want Roy to be his old self, but I will take like Roy one day at a time.

As for Aldridge and Roy combo... It worked out well. It was like Aldridge pretty much set the tone the entire game, while using Roy mainly in the 3rd and 4th. Reminded me of when Kobe and Shaq did this during their dynasty (eww I hate giving them props). And yeah I know Roy and Aldridge isn't a Kobe and Shaq, but I hope you get what I mean.

What I really loved watching was the 4th quarter big line-up with Roy, Fernandez, Wallace, Aldridge and Camby. That was a great thing to watch. They really seemed to cause huge mismatch problems.

By the way... I don't know if anyone else paid attention, but Portland Held Dallas to 67 shots (normally shoots 78.5 shots a game). This was the one stat that really stood out to me. Even though Dallas shot lights out; Portland wouldn't allow them to run on them. Forced Dallas to play into Portland's game, something I've been harping on the team for quite some time.

And WOW the offensive rebounds! They did such an amazing job on the boards. Hopefully they keep this up as well. GOOD WIN BLAZERS!

Last night's game was on NBA TV--which meant I couldn't see it. It's about the fifth time this season that has happened, and it really ticks me off. This year, for who knows why, Comcast doesn't offer NBA TV as part of its League Pass package--you have to pay extra to get it. It's Comcast at its classic best, which is why I hate it so much.

That said, I was really happy with this win. Dallas is one of the best teams in the league, and Portland shut them down. A great day to be a Blazer fan!

sorry to hear that you weren't able to get the game, but I have the Comcast League Pass package and don't pay extra for the NBA TV channel. I'd guess it's some local entity gouging you

The Blazers went 3-2 in a 5-game stretch that could easily have seen them 1-4. While the losses were to teams we could have beaten, the overall record, agnostic of opponent, looks pretty good considering the lineup they faced.

Anyone else annoyed as hell during the first half of the 3rd quarter? I do like Greg Anthony, but for the NBA TV crew to interview him during the game was crazy? I was getting pissed.

Overall though, I must say i like the McHale/Webber duo on the show.

OMG I was totally pissed too! I was like "WTF guys?!?! You are talking college ball during a pro game? Isn't this "NBA TV?"

I'm not sure where "Blazerville" is, but in the local Portland market the game was broadcast on KGW, which meant it was blacked out on NBA TV. Not a biggie. I like to watch the national broadscasts for a change when I can get them. It's nice to hear some different voices that aren't paid Blazers homers. But, I'm not complaining, I still got to watch the game. Since getting Verizon FIOS I haven't missed a game. I've either attended or watched on CSSNW, ESPN, KGW, NBA TV or TNT.

So you are saying you watched it on NBA tV and you did not have the Portland crew? Because I live in SoCal and I did get MB and Rice on my cable station. So does this mean my local cable company determines which feed I get for the NBA league pass? That would explain why I have gotten less portland broadcasts with my NBA league pass since moving here. (Well under 50 %)

Edit: Never mind I read your post wrong.
