    IMO, yes. It has a floral quality there I've never tasted in the States.

    Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout changed my opinion about dark beers entirely. That stuff is excellent.

    Rogue Chocolate Stout is my go to beer; The Abyss (Dechutes) was extra special as well, with a huge flavor.

    In terms of nationally available stouts then I would agree, but it's tough to compare those two to the microbrews available in the NW.

    Yes, I think it is a bit smoother over there, and creamier.

    But the co2 widget cans here are pretty darn good.
