Som post game Bucks quotes: Some quotes by Skiles: and Jennings on the Bulls fans taking over their house:
Watch Jennings body language when Rose made his spin, fall-away jumper! Priceless.
Remember all those post-dynasty years when we lamented the fact that we were without a superstar? This was why. I let others argue where Rose ranks among the elite players with whatever measuring tools they care to use. I'll take Rose. Unlike typical team boards, most of us here have been watching hoops for a long, long time. For me about 50 years. I watched Rose last night and was simply in awe. Yeah, this has happened to me before, but not often. And he's 22 years old. Amazing.
Thanks for posting. It made me so happy to see. This is why I held on to my identity as a Bulls' fan all these years. To hope to see something like this again.
Watched the replay of last night. The Bucks brought their A game and played inspired ball the entire night. That's about as well as they can plan, they were at home, and the Bulls still found a way to win by 9. Hell of win with no poor performances. It was great to see both Noah and Boozer have bounce back games; Boozer especially. That's championship caliber ball.
I agree SST that was the Bucks at their best. When Rose took over it was almost as if he said, "Screw this, time to win." The Bucks were in shock!
Me too. I have watched basketball for a little more than 50 years. Rose is special. No doubt about it.
Fair comparison. In fact one of the Bucks announcers brought that up last night. He is the faster version of D Wade.
