Hate the sin, not the sinner, maxiep. Unless the sinner is a bandwagon douchebag.

I wouldn't worry about the playoffs as you add an alternate uniform:

Yeah, but he's playing 5 fewer mpg. Per 36 it's higher than the last two years and just .2 off his career average. He still gets plenty of calls. However, he's no Kevin Durant...

It's a "great journey" all right. Throwing up in public, driving drunk, having hangovers, making a fool of yourself. Not to mention the health effects and the danger of addiction. I don't know a single person who regrets not drinking as a teenager--but I know lots of people who wish they had never taken their first drink.

Of course. But the consequences of drinking alcohol are potentially much graver than the consequences of eating a bag of potato chips while watching a Blazer game. :)

I hear you--but don't drink just because your friends do. That's how a lot of people get hooked on the stuff. I'm glad you don't like the taste of alcohol--but if you keep drinking, you will learn to like it, and that's a fact.

Best of everything, man--and have a great life!

How about adjusting for minutes played? Below are FT's/minute:

    2011 0.204
    2010 0.191
    2009 0.191
    2008 0.195
    2007 0.245

I'm sorry that your family has had issues with alcohol. But don't assume that everyone who drinks alcohol has no self control.

Many of us can drink and control our behavior without any grave consequences, it's really not that hard. So I have no problem choosing a beer instead of a bag of chips without this mysterious fear of consequces being greater than a bag of chips.

Relax and have a beer . . . or a bag of chips, whatever helps you relax.

Shouldn't we be talking about a more serious addiction here? Caffeine. I'm addicted to soda and it's terrible for me. I've tried to quit multiple times but I've failed. It just tastes too good. I don't like the taste of water. It's too bland. Whether it's coffee, energy drinks, or soda, I think caffeine is a terrible, terrible drug.

I too am addicted to sugary drinks. I dont do Energy drinks, or Coffee... but Soda, and Juices are my weakness in this world, along with French Fries. also Slurpees, if we had a 7-11 here in Hood River I would be broke, and weight about 450 lbs.

And they're so expensive. I like juices and teas and they just get more and more expensive. I drank Sobe for a while, until they got up around 1.50 a pop. I drank Vitamin Water for a while, but that got too expensive too. I like Snapple but only when it's on sale, and I try to drink the store brand sodas, but it's an expensive habit to have. I don't touch energy drinks because they're nasty and I only drink coffee occasionally.

Right now they're on sale for $1.00 but that's about as good as it gets now.
