    He decided eating at McDonald's wasn't consistent with the image he'd now like to have. So he's decided he doesn't like McDonald's anymore just like he's decided he doesn't like the name Buzz Killington anymore.

    Yes, but you used to like them, as evidenced by your enthusiasm for their snack wrap. If liking them is no longer suitable for the image that you'd like to have, I can see why you now would like to view McDonalds as crap. :)
