I remember reading someone complaining about Portland losing to Golden State and said watch the Lakers show how a good team takes care of a team like Golden State. Well the Lakers lost and it just proves, even the great teams can lose at any given day. Of course they didn't lose like the Blazers did, but some strange reason Golden State just has our number.

It's like the Pacers owning New York and Miami.

The Warriors were also at home, where they're 25-14. On the road they're 10-30.

That's the only loss I see us having the rest of the way. We just don't match up with that team well. They have our number.

Bullshit. They don't have our number; we just aren't willing to work as hard as we need to beat them. It means slowing the game down, pulling and grabbing at the guards and not giving them room to breathe on offense. When we have the ball, don't get lulled into playing ratball. Hold the ball, make the extra pass and you'll end up with nothing but layups.

For the record I think we beat the Jazz, lose to LAL, beat Memphis and lose to GS. We could also lose to Memphis, but I think we win a squeaker.

That's funny because that was my prediction as well. I seriously think our only loss will be against Golden State; but mainly because we will already have our seeding locked in.

I'm slightly surprised that we had so much trouble stopping both Monta AND Steph because we have Batum and Matthews. I figured we could at least slow down ONE of them...

Monta is the problem mainly. Steph is tough, but we just need to focus on one of them. I think if we are able to contain Monta, we can seriously slow them down. I think that was Nate's downfall on game planning. He should have just focused on one player. Had Batum designated on him, regardless if another guard is killing us. Just my thoughts...

I predicted that, just because of our history down there in the Bay. But I don't think anything will be settled until that last night.

Am I the only one who think the L*kers will try to blow us out? Because of our injuries, they're simply the better team. I bet they treat the game like a playoff game, and are focusing on that one vs. any of their others. We'll also be on the 2nd night of a B2B coming from altitude.

I'm not sure hard work is the cure, but I know this is a topic you're passionate about.

When you say "not giving them room to breathe on offense", are you suggesting pressuring up on Ellis and Curry on the perimeter?

Yep. How many screens did our guards go under last night instead of fighting over them?

After watching the tape and running the numbers the final figure is: A lot.

If someone is quicker than you, you need to be physical with them. You need to bump, grind and hold. You fight over screens. You muck up the game. On offense, you don't run the ball up; you slow the game down. You make them fight through screens. You pass up the open jumper to make the extra pass. Take notes from San Antonio. It's impossible to run against them when they want to slow the game down. We've done it before; we just won't do it against the Warriors.
