What do you expect from him?

Not much tbh. If it were all-star Roy, I expect a dominant performance. However, that ship has since sailed, sadly.

Brandon's not even looking for his shot right now. He is distributing the ball well and seems to run the offense pretty well from the point, but I hope he'll start to push to make a few shots. The second unit could really use some scoring punch.

I have a weird feeling about this one. Don't call me a conspiracy theorist, but could it be possible that the coaching staff and Roy are doing possum? Wouldn't it be weird if he actually comes out strong?

Roy couldn't even take Steve Blake off the dribble the other night. I have a hard time believing that was just an act.

Veteran leadership, the ability to run the offense with the bench on the floor and the respect of the refs.

That's why it's so fishy to me. I mean there are times I see him and he looks fine. It's one thing to see his step a little slow, but it's another to watch him not even looking for his shot. Roy has a lot of pride. Even at 30%, I would expect him to try and give 110%.

You've seen him look "fine", as in with his old-style change of direction and first step explosiveness? I haven't seen that in over a year.

No I've seen him look fine enough to look for a shot. To be able to at least get past "Blanky" and to at least try and finish at the rim.

I think Roy has one good performance left in him, but it will cost him the rest of the post season to exert himself to the level of effectiveness.

I don't think you can measure with #'s what Brandon can bring to this team in the playoffs. He can be a weapon every now and then.

Yeah I was thinking how stupid it was to make a poll. Should have just asked people to post their own numbers.

Could you imagine that he gives it his all in the first round; especially if it was against the Lakers? Then once we win the series; the coaching staff sits him out. How fitting would it be to have Roy play like an allstar for 3-4 games and be done. Best way to end the season in my opinion.

3 things I've never seen from him.

I really think he's not a Blazer next season, unless it's as an assistant coach/scout.

You are honestly saying you have NEVER seen him get the benefit of the doubt and call go his way from the refs......... you have NEVER seen him be a leader on the floor or have him run the offense thru himself?

I'm optimistic that the lack of back-to-backs will give Roy a chance to play as hard as he wants to without pressing. He'll have a couple of great games over the course of 20 or so games we'll play this post-season, and reach that 12/5/2 mark (5 being assists, not rebounds - he can't jump anymore).
