Sorry HCP, but this time the man's got a point. Nate has been a dreadful playoff coach.

 

Seriously, two years in a row the Blazers continually leave the guy that is on fire WIDE open. Last year it was Jason Richardson, this year it's Jason Kidd and Peja.

There is no way in hell Jerry Sloan would have stood there and watched Wesley Matthews continually leave Jason Kidd wide open. However Nate McMillan did.

 

Don't blame the messenger for the message! Nate got spanked AGAIN by a superior coach! The playoffs are about execution on both ends and coaching. Nate is a chump hiding behind raw non Nate coached talent. Without Wallace this team would be an 8 seed! Nate didn't coach Wallace into a star, rather he rode his coat tails!!! Nate is clueless as are all the people who think Roy will come back to allstar form!!!! 1 on 5 offensive clearouts and people wonder why we lost. No offensive rotation and no defense again. JJ Barea 5"9 and 36 year old Kidd bitch slapped this team!!This is where coaches just as much as players shine!!! One and Done = Nate! Next!!!!

Dallas is a good offensive team. Wesley Matthews licking balls is more of a concern, IMO.

Yay, the yardape and his exclamation marks finally make their appearance. Do you see that thing at the end of my last sentence, it's called a "period" . . . (heck I just strung three of them in a row there, did you see that?) you can often times use a "period" to end a sentence too. Exclamation marks are not required at the end of every sentence.

Now to your points: without Crash this team is the 8th seed? Because there was a HUGE disparity between the 6th and 8th seed, right? And dumbass Nate "rode" Wallace's coat tails for 23 games (or just over 1/4th of the season)? And rode his coat tails to what exactly? Oh right, the almighty 6th seed because without Crash, we'd be a lowly 8th seed. Got it; good post.

The Blazers are currently trying to win games with a six man rotation......it's impossible to win in the playoffs doing that.

 

He should have taken himself out of the game. Of course, he scored about 8 points right after being "knocked unconcious". Perhaps he should take a shot to the head each quarter. Maybe then he would play better?

 

Matthews played terrible. I didn't bitch about it during the game, but he's underperforming.

Unfortunately Rudy. Roy, and Patty didn't give Nate much of a chance to do any thing about it.

Matthews is the starter. He needs to step it up in Game 3, more than anyone else on the team. I'm sure he'd say he's playing like shit as well.
