Anyone played the Gears 3 beta? Un-fucking believable. My mate bought Bullet Storm which gives owners a week early beta test of. If you pre order Gears 3 now, you will be allowed 4 weeks beta testing, starting from the 25th of this month. The beta only features online play, and i have to say its amazing. They've brought in new weapons. One of which is a sawn off fucking shotgun. You can customise decals on your weapons by getting certain amount of kills, you receive medals, ribbons, playable characters through playing online. They even have playable female characters . They've gone all out on the multiplayer this time, and this is only the beta stage .

I'd defo recommend playing it. Plus you only have less than 4 weeks of the beta left, so use that time wisely
I have full intentions on checking it out at some point this week. I've never been a huge Gears fan though, honestly. I've always loved the co-op campaign, but I haven't really been huge on playing it solo or playing competitively online. For that matter, I'm not a huge fan of playing competitive shooters online in general.
You need to do it from certain stores (Game, Gamestation) in order to receive the beta, so you goda be careful. If anyone's not sold on getting this game yet. One of the execution moves is ripping your opponents arm off and beating them with it, nuff said!

I know the feeling. Got my beta code in an email . But i have to wait till i get back to uni on Saturday to be able to use it . My gf will be there with me until the following Tuesday. Either i ignore her until she leaves Tuesday, or i miss a couple days gaming for her. Gf or game? gf or game?..... that bitch is getting ignored! She's so lucky to have a guy like me
I plan to get a new console soon but am not a gaming freak like some of you just yet , LOL . I was curious , I always thought that X-Box 360 is a better console to have because of the games available but absolutely love God Of War and part 3 might only be available for PS3 and not X 360 . Is that so ? and would any of you agree/disagree about which console is better to have ?
With the PSN down your much better off getting a 360. Sony have lost billions so Microsoft will be taking full advantage, and will no doubt destroy what's left of the PS3
