Ended up getting arrested for the first time last night. Locked in the drunk tank all night. Then didn't get charged with anything. Wonder how much money the state could have saved by just driving me home.
back off the drinking just a lil then man, thats pretty much the threshold, if you are getting arrested, back it off.
Just for being drunk in public? I hope you learned a valuable lesson Yeah, right, probably makes you hate cops now. But I would like to point that they wouldn't have saved any money? They put you in a holding cell for a night. It's not like they fed you or housed or gave you anything. And they would have just been patrolling otherwise... so same thing essentially, they're gonna get paid regardless.
I think you're right on all accounts. They did give me a "lunch" consisting of a bologna sandwhich (just bread and bologna lol) an apple, and a box drink of apple juice without a straw. I think the fact that it was a Monday made them more likely to bring me in though, nothing else to do I suppose. Definitely had a few too many but its really not going to stop me from getting hammered and/or drinking in public. I'm not a beligerant, loud, or violent drunk at all. I've managed to walk home safe and sound many a time in a blackout/brownout situation. I'll pregame less for sure now though and probably try to not be walking around alone at night since I feel like they wouldn't have stopped me if I was in a group.
4/20 doesn't seem too cracking in Santa Cruz this year. Gonna try to crush ass on some reading/studying so I can partake in a little of the festivities at night.
Were you nabbed walking home though? Or do you not remember? If you're just staggering along WALKING home minding your own business it is kind of a dick thing to pick you up off the streets.
I don't remember exactly but according to the report I got I was arrested at 2:35 at the Metro station (main hub for all the buses throughout the city)...but the last one leaves at 1:50. Dunno what the hell I was doing to warrant being arrested but waiting for a bus 45 min after the last one left probably doesn't look good lol. For all I know I could have been passed out on a bench there. Pretty sure I wasn't being loud or disruptive though.
Hmm... I always wondered if Global warming was real or just theory, and it's come to my conclusion that it's not just theory.
Bars: good on weekdays. Suck donkey balls on weekends. Haven't been out on Thursday yet but people tell me its the perfect median.
No complaints. Went probably 1-7 or 1-8 on FGs playing pickup bball yesterday. My hustle was nutso though. Never been so happy with my performance despite such a shitty shooting day.
