I'll be pulling for the Hawks or Bulls to win it all.

    Cant root for:
    Lakers - obvious reasons.
    Grizz - D.Miles bullshit.
Mavs - cry baby bitches... but I guess it would look better for us if they go on to the Finals.
OKC - Oden vs Durant and still bitter they left Seattle.
Celtics - hate Garnett... but like Rondo and Ray.
    Heat - big 3 bullshit.

There is nobody left I can root for. Maybe Hawks a little but they are not going very far. So, it is sort of a waste to even root for them.

Bulls in the East; Mavs in the West.

Maybe Miami because I like DWade and James.

Don't really care if they win or lose, though.

But I am rooting against Durant and OKC. I think most Blazers fans will. It's sort or a vindication for me if Durant fails.

I'm probably going to spend more time with my 1 y/o girl, and prepare for the little guy coming this summer--at least until draft time. I don't want to see the L*kers or Celtics win, I hope that the Heat get swept (which sucks that they're playing the Celtics), I don't have a warm fuzzy about Rose and Westbrook are already being touted as if they've done something...I respect Durant a lot but like BeerBoy I hate to think that this should be happening in SEA, not in Oklahoma.

MEM would be an ok story, but I don't think they have the horses and I don't like thinking about what Wallace did to us and the league. There's literally no one on MIA or DAL that I would like to root for, unless maybe Beaubois comes back or Peja catches fire. ATL is a bit fun to watch, but it's brutal watching the "fans" at the Omni or whatever it's called now.

Guh. If I HAD to pick someone to root for, I'd say maybe ATL or CHI over OKC. If that's not happening, then :dunno: . But I'm sure it'll be entertaining basketball.

I'll watch the rest of the NFL draft today and tomorrow and then I'll go into hibernation until both the NBA and NFL get their CBA/lockout issues resolved. Fun times.

If there is a lockout, is there a draft?

Like Brian, I'm going to spend more time with my 4 month old son (if that's possible; we're attached to the hip). While I pretty much stop watching basketball while we're out, I'll hope that Dallas wins it all just to ease the sting of having lost to them.

After that, I like the Hawks or the Thunder just out of sheer jealousy.

Yes. The current CBA expires after the draft.

Definitely for a Thunder/Bulls finals - sitting on a bunch of 2007 & 2008 unopened NBA wax with Durant, Westbrook, Rose rookie cards : )

I am basically cheering for who would piss off the laker fans the most.

    So

Miami Heat: I want LeBron > Kobe just to shut laker fans up.

Celtics: I hate KG but would like Shaq to equal Kobe. Would really piss off laker fans

Grizzlies: Would be funny to all those who bashed me for bashing the ZBO trade were he to win a ring and be finals MVP. Just a personal vindication.

the sad thing is that if LBJ beats K*be, all the bandwagonning clownshoes who claim he's Basketball Messiah just b/c they bought the most popular K*be jersey and is on TV a lot (note: NOT real L*ker fans, who have their own issues :) ) will shift their arrogance, ignorance and allegiance to "King" James. It's really a no-win.

    TV OFF.

The game has been disgraced and dishonored by ticky tack superstar treatment and conflicts of interest

San Antonio! I've got at least one more game.

Other than that... basically anyone from the East. If the Heat get past the Celtics then it's theirs to lose, I think, although they better not let it stay close in a Finals against the Lakers. Bulls aren't going anywhere this year, I don't think. They might not even get past the Hawks (Hinrich's revenge!).

No one. I might catch a few games here and there, but I don't care who wins.
