I just heard that the intel that finally led our troops to OBL came from a bin Laden courier being held at GITMO. :MARIS61: Good thing Obama came to his senses and didn't close it down, as he promised he would do.
But seriously, that webpage with the picture from a year ago, if thats true....then fuuuuu...someones lying
So - the economy is not the administration fault - it's the financial institutes and your rants about it in the last year were just in jest? This is our country and our administration for good and for bad - and it was the same when Bush was in power and before when Clinton was.
Kind of weird place to hide: http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/05/02/bin.laden.raid/index.html?hpt=P1&iref=NS1 If I were bin Laden, the last place I'd want to hide is a place that sounds like it'd stick out like a sore thumb from satellite photos. *shrug* I guess he knew what he was doing to last as long as he did.
I wonder if all this was timed: Questioned for a long time about birth certificate. Finally releases long form and make all those who questioned his birth look like idiots. Then he releases information that Osama is dead. What credible person would want to step into this one and question if Osama was really dead (Trump doesn't count as credible).
Musharraf: Bin Laden mission violated Pakistan Former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf on Monday accused the U.S. of violating his country’s sovereignty by sending in special forces to kill Osama bin Laden. “American troops coming across the border and taking action in one of our towns, that is Abbottabad, is not acceptable to the people of Pakistan. It is a violation of our sovereignty,” Mr. Musharraf told CNN-IBN, an Indian news channel. He added that it would have been “far better if Pakistani Special Services Group had operated and conducted the mission. To that extent, the modality of handling it and executing the operation is not correct.” http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/may/2/musharraf-bin-laden-mission-violated-pakistan/ Uh huh... I'm sure that would have been far better.
Fuck him. He's likely just mad because of money and help they get through fucks like OBL. If we asked for Pakistani help, we would have "just missed him" once again. Like so many times before. As he would have likely been tipped off. I recognize how it could be a violation of their sovereignty. And I don't really give a shit.
US official: New tape may be last from bin Laden WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. intelligence officials believe Osama bin Laden made a propaganda recording shortly before his death and expect that tape to surface soon. It is unclear whether the tape is audio or video, but a U.S. official says that intelligence indicates it is already working its way through al-Qaida's media pipeline. The official said the timing was coincidental and there is no indication he knew U.S. forces were bearing down on him. A new recording from bin Laden would provide a final word from the beyond grave for a terrorist who taunted the U.S. with recorded propaganda for years. It could also provide fodder to those who insist he is still alive. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap...6lngWA?docId=ec68f068e92f4c649eb81332d190b7e6
You hearing all the info about all the decisions and orders our President had to make to get this done? Our Commander In Chief led the operation and got the job done. Give credit where credit is due.
Naw man, odds are he is toast. Just want to know when. You know, I get hammered here for lumping a lot of the musulim people in the middle east together and referring to them as "those fuckers" those people" etc. Just because there are boundary's drawn on a map does not mean that the fuck head mentality stops there. those fuckers knew he was in fuckastan. How does a puke like that have a fuckin "media pipeline" and we can not trace it down? No, we could have known for years where he was, just elected not to "pull the trigger"
That picture is a fake. Media outlets are taking that picture down and blaming conspiracy theorists for the circulation of that picture. LINK
I'm sorry, but making a couple of decisions is nothing compared to the years of sacrifice given by our intelligence agencies and our military. I don't mind giving a leader a little credit, but it's nothing compared to the credit I'm giving the other folks.
Yeah, I've seen a few explanations about how that picture was photoshopped, but when I posted it I didn't know. I can't understand why we won't release the dead Bin Laden photos.
