I would really like to know what happened to Rudy. His rookie year he was exciting, he was deadly from deep, and he seemed far more passionate about the game. He's never really seemed the same after that injury by Ariza, so maybe that's the reason?

This was the first of the "You be the GM" series this year right?

The story of the big fish in a little pond; having to cope with being an average fish in a big pond. I think him being the 8th option for the Blazers could be hampering his confidence. Reminds me of a "Roy" situation as well. I think his problem is all mental. If you actually see his shots; they are hitting around the rim. They aren't short. They are just missing. I think a lot of that has to do with concentration.

The sad thing is I actually think Rudy will do really well on another team. I mean if a team that needs a SG, could really use a player like him. Personally, I just don't think giving him a few minutes a game works for him. He's another player that needs time on the floor to establish his game. So his value is low and probably the team that gets him will get a steal.

I'm thinking that breaking vertebrae had a negative effect on his game. When was the last time that you saw him do a swooping alley-oop along the baseline? On a team that led the league in alleyoops, did he have one this year?

39% from the field. GOD AWEFUL. I love Fernandez, but that just can't be good. His injury was this year, but still shot like shit 2 years before.

Go if Nate stays, stay if Nate goes.

This is not a crack on Nate, but Rudy doesn't do well in a tightly structured system....That is also not a crack on Rudy

George Karl, D' Antoni or others like them could get a lot out of Fernandez. I do agree that Nate is too structured for a "free bird" type player like Fernandez.

Maybe he's a little bit stifled by Nate's slow-down tempo, but there's no getting around it for me, he kind of sucks as an NBA player: too skinny/weak to take a hit inside, and bad enough at ball-handling that he can't create any separation in a a one-on-one situation. If he went somewhere and did nothing but run off screens in a run and gun system he might be able to become a competent reserve, but it's no major loss if he goes IMO.

His value is really low; I doubt if any team in the league would be interested; the Blazers might as well release him and let him go back to Europe, maybe he can find his confidence back there. Although I guess his contract could be used to make a trade work.

I'm definitely done with Rudy. He was horrible in last year's playoffs and worse in this year's. I'm done with him. Cut him and bring in Claver. Is he healthy yet?

Who knew Marco Belinelli would turn out to be the better player.

As European prospects Rudy was viewed as the better prospect by far.

You mean that Rudy doesn't shoot well on wide open jumpers if the system is wrong? It's not like this is an aberration.....his shooting has consistently gone down since the Ariza injury

I dont do the vote to "GO" thing... if he is needed in a trade thats fine.. but I dont think we should get rid of him for the sake of getting rid of him. I usually reserve the "go" for someone who is a Cancer or something.
