Weird that he went this late in life without having chickenpox. Good thing, for the Lakers, that Pau or Kobe had it as a kid. Although knowing Kobe, he could have a 112 degree temperature, his legs could have fallen off and blind in both eyes, and he'd still play.
For some reason, I thought I had read that they said the team was not concerned about other players catching it. When you said "hope" everybody had it, I skipped over the word 'hope'.
Well I wish you had been right but youre not...geez, how the hell do we have so many players who havent had it yet?!?!
I had a coworker who got chicken pox well in her 30s, was out 2 weeks. Some people don't get childhood diseases. I never had mumps. I remember in 6th grade a girl in class got mumps and all the girls went to visit her, but I was not allowed as I was the only one who never had it. Of course, the ghastly measles I had made up for all, so to speak, I mean, they thought it might literally kill me. Two weeks later the vaccine was released. Never did have good timing!
You know Stern would delay the opening of the playoffs to wait for the infected L*kers to get healthy.
Everyone be careful not to look at any Laker boards till this chicken pox thing is over. And if you do don't come back here for 2 weeks.
I think this Chicken Pox thing is what happens when good guys, at heart, are extensively exposed to the purple and piss for a long period of time. He is signed there for 4 years - so if he is not traded soon - I am afraid for his long-term health.
Wasn't Blanky rubbing up against the Blazers last week? I don't give a shit about the Flakers. I want to know who on the Blazers hasn't had the Chicken Pox?
Yea, he was horrible. Seems very scared. He's not comfortable in the big time. Kobe probably scares him. If the Lakers are to win this series, they will need him to make some shots.
You are a great guy. Seem really cool man, but I can't say anything to cheer you up. I absolutely hate the Lakers. I knew Blake was loyal to us fans!
