Well, sounds like they deserve each other. At least I don't have to feel sorry for a nice person dating a jerk!
Let's see: teamates didn't seemed bothered by Roy's comments. Coach didn't seem bothered by Roy's comments. RG fans didn't seemed bothered by Roy's comments. I suppose Cho could suspended Roy (probably polorize magmt and players), and Blazers likely get swept. Instead, Blazers take no action, Roy plays, helps Blazers win game 3, wins game 4 in one of the largest and most dramatic Blazer playoff comebacks. Fans have a lifetime memory and teammates embrace Roy in a moment they all know how much he needed and deserved that. I would say good call not punishing him.
We should make an S2 Twitter account that looks like it is associated to Canzano and just tweet away random ass bullshit as if it was from him. Wouldn't be much of a stretch if you ask this gangster!
Someone did a fake Canzano twitter account a few years back and he went bat shit crazy over it. That guy was really funny who did it too.
Seriously Canzano was a little bitch about things, threatened to sue, had his lawyer on his radio show. Finally got twitter to ban the account.
If it is true about Cho wanting to suspend Roy, then I lose some respect for Cho. Roy was upset that his team lost, and that he didn't play. If he had said those things after a win, sure, suspend him. But, Brandon just wanted to help his team win, which he did in Games 3 and 4.
I doubt Cho advocated a suspension. A fine, or at least a reprimand, possibly. OTOH, if Nate didn't sit him down and tell him he was out-of-line, I have lost some respect for Nate.
I couldn't see any team in the NBA suspending any player on their roster if they made similar comments during the playoffs. Jesus guys, stop overreacting. The only people that cared were the journalists that could stir shit up and the Roy haters on the message boards, a la that poster with the pedophile picture. His teammates understood his frustration, he was still embraced by Patty and Rudy and most importantly, the RG cheered as soon as he stood up to enter the game.
