    I am either really happy or really sad about this.


    If Cho really thought we were 1 to 2 pieces from contending than I am ecstatic. If Cho wanted to rebuild then i am really sad. This team is not close, and hopefully the people in charge understand that.

    You know how championship teams are built? Sure you have to have talent and yes you have to have some luck, but the one constant is a steady hand in upper management/ownership and a clear vision.

    There were plenty of reports around the trade deadline that Cho wanted to scrap things and start over.

    I wonder how much Allen is involving himself. With Davis, it was obvious that he micro-managed everything, right down to what the concession stands stocked. With Allen, it's not so clear.

    Either way, the Blazers are starting to look as erratic as the Raiders, I agree.

    Why is everyone so quick to blame the Trail Blazers front office and Paul Allen? Could it be that Cho isnt as good of a GM that we had hoped for?

    After one season in which he pulled off a mid-season deal which was pretty much universally lauded as a good one? That's a pretty bizarre way to decide that the guy you hired less than a year ago actually is terrible.

    Never really got to know him. I was a big KP fan so I think I was overly critical on Cho in both warming up to him and analyzing his moves. Either way, I'm ready for another GM.

    Because this a pattern. No patience, no clear vision, no understanding of what it takes to run a top flight organization. Maybe it's the Vulcan thing, maybe Allen has no clue or maybe Bert Kolde is finally going to get his wish. Whatever the case this organization doesn't appear to have a clue what it's doing.
