Tarnished his legacy later in his career when his abilities dwindled but his ego didn't. Basically called anyone who pointed out the obvious that he wasn't the player that he used to be a jealous bitch and threatened them. Real big man there. Never really enjoyed his attitude towards the game either, always considered himself bigger than it. Then again, he seems to have pushed that trend of pompous, selfish, inflated-ego superstars to the mainstream. Way to leave the game better than you found it, Shaq. Enjoy your HOF ceremony.

Shaq actually used to be my favorite player in the league when he was on the Magic. Then turned into my most hated by joining the L*kers.

    So...in summary, fucq shaq.

No one is going to remember this 20 years from now.

He'll still be remembered as one of the most dominant players ever.

Hmmm, I enjoyed him with the exception of his playing time in LA, when he went there, I knew the Blazers were screwed.

Most memorable game involved him Playing aginst Jermain O, and JO was getting under Shaqs skin..hehe

The Wilt Chamberlain of his generation. No one has physically dominated his opposition like Shaq since Wilt. Of course the refs let that ass bump clearing move go which made all the difference.

I'd like to see GO given the latitude of Shaq by the refs.

I was at that game sitting under one of the baskets. Shaq got tossed from the game. It was awesome.

shaq was a beast in orlando - his leaguewide popularity has never been higher than at that point in his career. total domination all over the court and was a very very exciting player to watch. the laker shift sorta made him hated by everyone but those magic years were amazing.

I will always remember Shaq and that bush league move where he "fell" onto Joel Przybilla. You can't tell me that was accidental. I lost all respect for Shaq that day. Best memory of Shaq was when he took down the entire basketball support. Was that against Phoenix? It's too bad that Shaq went to LA. He was definitely a fan fave when he was in Orlando. Then he went to LA and his head ala the Grinch grew three sizes that day.

My L*ker hatred for him was eased just a bit by his "K*be, how's my ass taste?" rap, but only just a bit. Fuck, he owned us.

Shaq got fouled every time he made a move and he still dominated like no player I've ever seen.
