Gates' and Buffett's alternatives are to give their money to their kids (do they have any?) or to pour it in the money hole that is government.
Both have children. Buffett bought his son a farm (I think he raises hogs and corn) and Gates' kids are getting something like $100MM each.
Mamet always did make shit movies. House of Cards was bad. Homicide was worse. It's like Dennis Miller: you always knew the guy was a jerk, and then he goes and proves it.
So, anyone who isn't left of center is a "jerk"? I'm just looking for clarification. IMO, Glengarry Glen Ross, Oleanna, Heist and The Spanish Prisoner were all terrific. And GGR and Oleanna as plays were even better.
