what do they need and what would we offer? I'd assume a trade would be contingent on someone like Kemba, Jimmer (or someone else we really like) being available? Thoughts and trade ideas? they also said the trade could be expanded.

I imagine they would want a SG, so Wes there for 10 would work. Ilyasova, delfino and 10 for Wes and 21.

I thought Dave's comment on Blazer's Edge today was right on target. Outside of the top one or two picks in this draft, there's nobody who would be more than a backup on the Blazers for the foreseeable future. I'd rather take a backup at 21 than trade other assets to take one at 10.

Walker is not going to come in and lead this team to the NBA finals.....which is what both PA and Mr Sonic want

Kemba would make a nice backup PG who, maybe, in 3-4 years could be a decent starter.

Maggette and the #10 for ... what? :)

I don't think that Maggette fits here, but I think that the Bucks would love to move his contract.

We could give them some close-to-expirings like Camby and Miller, along with some cheap talent like Batum (augh! It burns to say it!). Run LMA at center, start Magette at PF, Wallace at SF, Matthews, and then start Roy for 18-20 minutes a night while Walker gets the lion's share of minutes... not gonna get us to the finals, but it gets us younger again.

A Wallace/Maggette forward combo is interesting to think about, isn't it? Flawed (and fragile!) but ... interesting.

I don't know that we'd need to move Batum if we took Maggette's contract back. Camby/Miller would more than cover Maggette in terms of salary, and Maggette seems to have worn out his welcome enough that the Bucks might just be happy to be rid of him.

Maggette would be a good acquisition IMO, just that type of scorer off the bench that this team needs

    Out: Wes, Batum, Andre, Camby
In: Jennings, Salmons, Bogut, Gooden, #10 pick.

Bucks clear Salmons, Bogut, and Gooden off their cap, plus they get Wes and Batum.

    Ourlineup:

    Jennings/Mills/Johnson
    Salmons/Roy/Williams
    Wallace/Babbitt
    Aldridge/Gooden
    Bogut/Oden

Use the #10 on the BPA.

YAY! Another injured #1-pick center! :devilwink:

In all seriousness, why would Milwaukee do that? Bogut & Jennings are their best players.

Bogut could be swapped out for Maggette if that's what they wanted, but Bogut has three more years left on his deal and he's making $11 million next season. I'm just going off the rumors that they want to move Jennings, and I'm not convinced we could get anyone better at #10 anyway.
