So, I've seen that it's likely that the Blazers plan to trade the 57 pick, Tanguy Ngombo, that they are getting from the Mavs as a result of last night's trades. I've also read that it was the T'Wolves who had him on their wish list. Thoughts as to who the Blazers might be trying to get in a trade? Hopefully, something to bolster front court depth. Randolph? Tolliver?

My guess is a future pick. Nothing to see here

tolliver or Randolph? The guy was the 57th pick. How about sites a little lower. Like a future second.

I loled a little when I saw the Randolph or Tolliver suggestion.

    Re: What's Up with Tanguy?

Did I suggest in my post that it would be a straight across trade? Obviously, the Blazers would have to add a player or two to make a trade happen. I'm only looking for ideas as to who the target might be.

Sometimes, I swear, the main purpose of this place for some people seems to be to make yourself feel better by putting someone else down.

    Re: What's Up with Tanguy?

The T-Wolves are pretty well stocked at PF and just added Williams who is going to need PT at the 3 & 4 spots, so it wouldn't be surprising for them to be looking to move Randolph or Tolliver. They were said to be the only team that knew diddly about Tanguy, so it seems logical that the Blazers have something cooking with them. For salary matching purposes, the Blazers would likely have to include Babbitt or Williams and possibly Johnson.

How about Bayless TPE, #57 + 3 million for Randolph and a future 2nd?

Forgot about the TPE. Works for me. Go sell it to the T'Wolves.

I thought I had read that they were more interested in moving Beasley. He makes more money and essentially plays the same position as Kevin Love and he's a bit of a head case. Bob Whittset would love him.

I honestly don't think it would take a lot to sell that. I am sure the Blazers think too higly of the TPE to give it up though

Nicely done. Just the right degree of snarkiness to offset the positivity.

Looks like he lied about his age. Without the trade being done yet, I don't like how this is going

DXpress just reported that Tanguy was busted for lying about his age.

He was actually born in 1984.
