I have an enormous amount of respect for Wesley and his toughness ... and not bitching about the pain he must have been in. But gotta say, not wild about him continuing to play on an effed up ankle and potentially causing longer-term damage. I guess on the plus side, the beginning of the season could be 6 months or more away, so lots of time to heal up I guess.
This plasma injection procedure is very interesting. I wonder if it truly helped Bartolo Colon out...or he failed to mention he was also taking HGH
yeah i would bet bartolo was taking hgh like a motherfucker, and why wouldnt you? it can help you heal better
I hope he gave full disclose to the medical staff. I remember Roy saying he didn't want to let on that he was hurt for fear the team wouldn't let him play, if Wesley did something similar he's selfishly risking the long term health of this franchise to act like a tough guy.
How is this a bad thread? I think Wes having a foot that's completely numb for two months is pertinent.
I understand Wes wanting to avoid a surgery, but if this relatively new and unproven process fails, he will be getting surgery right before the preseason. If Matthews is out for a portion of the season at the begining, that is another tough injury for the Blazers to absorb.
Just watched the recorded show on the website. Another hour he spent just for the fans. No other NBA player would do this.
With a lockout looming i'm hoping he has enough time that if this treatment didn't work to get surgery and be 100% by next season.
prolly this?
