KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- A military helicopter crashed in eastern Afghanistan, killing 31 U.S. special operation troops and seven Afghan commandos, the country's president said Saturday. An American official said it was apparently shot down, in the deadliest single incident for American forces in the decade-long war. The Taliban claimed they downed the helicopter with rocket fire while it was taking part in a raid on a house where insurgents were gathered in the province of Wardak late Friday. It said wreckage of the craft was strewn at the scene. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/storie...ME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2011-08-06-06-27-19
Seal Team Six killed in Afghanistan I mean really, this doesn't look fishy to you at all? Illuminati at work overtime. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/storie...ME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2011-08-06-06-27-19 :MARIS61:
Re: Seal Team Six killed in Afghanistan It's very sad. They were real American heroes at a time when we desperately needed some.
again, the question must be asked. along with all the "fishyness" of the Bin Laden "killing". now the witnesses who did the killing are now dead.
yes. don't question anything. ignore the obvious and spoon feed the line the government give you and be a good ignorant american like Obama wants you to be. like I said, it was fishy before and its moreso now.
There are 100 members in Seal Team 6, we don't know if the same members who took out Bin Laden were the exact same ones who were in the chopper. Call me ignorant all you want, there is not enough accurate information available to make the leap that you want to.
I've never served in the military so is a "unit" just the group that was involved in killing Bin Laden or is a unit all of the 100 members in Seal Team 6? El Prez that's fine if you want to look for conspiracies in this tragedy. I look at our Special Forces as the absolute best of the best. They represent our country with unsurpassed bravery and integrity. I just don't believe for an instant that if they didn't kill Bin Laden that they would just sit by and take false credit for doing so.
"The majority of the Navy SEALs who died belonged to the same covert unit that conducted the raid that killed Osama bin Laden in May, though they were not the same men, the official said." That's from CNN.
It dispells your theory in the article you linked to. None of the 22 SEAL personnel killed in the crash were part of the team that killed bin Laden in a May raid in Pakistan, but they belonged to the same unit. Their deployment in the raid in which the helicopter crashed would suggest that the target was a high-ranking insurgent figure. I know the Government isn't always truthful just don't let that get in the way of honoring the people who served and died for you and me.
It's Pakistan that is the problem. Nuke them and the Taliban and the ones who support the Taliban goes away.
Start making a list of the nice Pakistanis and we'll send them a text message to run right before we launch the nuke.
This. We got Bin Laden, what was the mission beyond that? These guys deserved a ticker tape parade, not to be put in harm's way forever.
