An interesting interview with Miller. I liked Miller and I'm going to miss him. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_y...YF?slug=mc-spears_andre_miller_nuggets_090811
Interesting that the plan is to play him off the bench behind Ty Lawson. Should be interesting to see how Dre takes it. Not hard to imagine Karl throwing out one of his weird lineups with Lawson at SG.
Likewise, would have been nice to have a GM during the draft. I'm itching to see if Kenneth Faried + Andre Miller > Raymond Felton & Nolan Smith Overall.
He'd better not take on Karl, though. The ending could be devastating....physically......or medically.
I didn't see in the article any mistakes he admitted. Good, because he didn't make any. Notice in that article that he had no problems playing for several cities until it says the Oregonian nitpicked at his personal qualities. The Oregonian is like no other in creating needless turmoil.

This. They'd rather editorialize on how long it took Cho to order at an unfamiliar restaurant, or create a rift between players, coaches and fans, than report the news of the day.
Ding! The Gory-onion is all about turning sports coverage into an episode of Entertainment Tonight, focusing on players' personalities, their favorite ice-cream and whether or not they kiss babies enough, instead of talking about ... you know ... their on court performance.
I just learned that Andre Miller has never been on a team that won a playoff series. I can't believe I didn't know that for the 2 years he was in Portland.
I can't believe how talkative Dre was on that video! While I do understand the thought process behind the trade, I'm still sorry to see him go. It was just so fun to see him warming up to us as time went on. His excitement after the Brandon Roy heroics in the play offs was just so fun to watch. I could see he was finally feeling like part of the franchise/team. He must know that he has a lot of fans in Portland.
Yes, he JUST learned. We're buddies and I purposely held that information from PapaG the entire time Dre was here and I just told him today. I think he took it pretty well, don't you?
Just wondering, cause: http://sportstwo.com/threads/184796-Weird-(and-Troubling-)-Andre-Miller-Fact?p=2590919
This thread might be retitled, "PapaG admits he made some mistakes in PDX." I'm not going to make fun of his humility. Welcome back, Papa.
That was an evasion of the question. As an experienced interviewee who minimizes his word count, he deflects criticism while admitting nothing other than what is true of any human being, that he sometimes makes unspecified, meaningless, trivial mistakes. That statement says nothing. I like his masterful ambiguity over whether the city "where the focus was all on basketball" is Portland or Denver. After the amateurish treatment of him from the Oregonian and McMillan, he sarcastically says that the Oregonian's coverage of him "was all about basketball." He is thinking that Denver, not Portland, is the serious city.
