I knew you would wax poetic as soon as I brought out his feminine side.

I knew Freeland had a big game against Poland but just now realized that he shot 12-12 from the field! o0

France has already qualified for the quarterfinals but the seeding has yet to be determined. They're playing Lithuania today @ 2pm est.

Parker vs. Sarunas should be interesting, as well as Noah vs Jonas.

Nic just faked a three and drove into the lane for a nice reverse layup. He would never do that in the past.

Oh shit, what a steal. Nic just broke up a lob by snatching the ball with one hand when it was near the rim.

I think France finally figured out how to beat a zone: attack. early and often.

He was rushing on everything for some reason. De Colo stepped up huge, which was totally unexpected.

France vs. Spain coming up in an hour.

This should be the best game f the tournament so far.

Do you have a non-ESPN3 link in English? Thanks. Speaking of ESPN, I just read this article.

Zaza Pachulia (of the NBA team in Georgia) was injured, so his team Georgia (the country) was upset by Finland 87-73 Saturday, with Petteri Koponen scoring 12 points. If they beat Slovenia Monday, Koponen's team makes it into the Elite Eight.

    http://espn.go.com/olympics/basketb...eorgia-stays-contention-european-championship

Later in the article, it says that in a duel of centers, Kostas Koufos of Russia vs. Timofey Mozgov of Greece (both on the Denver Nuggets), Russia won 83-67 with Sergey Monya icing the game with two 3-pointers at the end. The game was meaningless because both teams have already made the Elite Eight.

France is benching Parker and Noah for the game. WTF. They're trying to do some sneaky shit again, after it bit them in the ass last year.

And even with all that, Claver gets zero PT. You've got to wonder why he's even in the squad. Spain might as well have brought along Garbajosa for veteran support.

Agreed. But the only reason he blew by Batum just then was because Marc Gasol grabbed Nic's arm.

Still, this is Rudy's element and he's taking advantage. So far he's looked WAY better than Batum.

THREE TIMES IN A ROW France trying fancy interior passing instead of just laying it in. Maddening.

And another three by Rudy. He must be in double figures in the quarter by himself.
