Some people can't let go. Haha.

I don't follow the Packers THAT closely, but it seems there's been some pretty significant turnover since Favre was there.

In short? Favre is full of it :)

Favre walked into a pretty great situation with the Vikings and he couldn't win it.

Favre is looking like a douche.

The reason the Packers are as good as they are right now is because Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in football. He utilizes all his options, is mobile and makes the best decisions of any QB in the league. The Pack's defense is rated 26th in the league right now and they are 4-0.

The guy just can't accept that he got old. I've never seen someone cling to their youth so desperately. I realize that guys can go through a midlife crises but damn....

After watching Romo choke away games like he has this year you can't blame Farve for thinking he could do better.

Favre walked into a good situation when he was traded to GB from the ATL...

I've been a Packers fan since I was a kid, I used to love Brett Favre and the unbelievable things he did on the football field ... and then the years of retirement drama every off-season the last five years in Green Bay and the ultimate slap of going to play for the Viqueens revealed to me just how petty, small and narcissistic he could really be.

The real deal? He's feeling his legacy being threatened by the fact that Rodgers is turning out to be an even better player than he was and he can't handle being out of the spotlight. Despite the good memories I have from him helping the team win a Super Bowl in 1997 I'm over this D-bag. I almost hope he retires in purple and piss.

I think his comment is misunderstood.

A lot of QBs don't get the benefit of playing on championship caliber teams and not having to start and get dinged up during the learning years.

Gah, I meant to say goes into the hall (and yes I know you don't go into the HOF as a member of any particular team in the NFL)

Yeah the NFL is the ultimate team game, where great QBs aren't always around championship caliber teams.

Also people need to relax a little bit, there's this thing called inflation. In sports you have to adjust for it and not just compare QB ratings across different eras.
