Sure, they still have the Lions a couple of times and the Chargers, but they just seem head & shoulders above the league right now.
I don't think so. I didn't see much from the Lions offense today. Their defense was stellar but the offense seemed pretty weak to me.
I love me some Packers, but no they will not go undefeated ... McCarthy doesn't care about that shit. Depending on where they stand as far as the playoffs go, they'll probably start Matt Flynn in week 17, or only play Rodgers a series or two. My prediction is 13-3 if the defense doesn't really improve, but could be 14-2 or 15-1 if they get Mike Neal back fully healthy after the bye and can finally generate an interior pass rush.
None of it really matters if you don't take home the hardware at the end of the season. New England went undefeated and then lost in the Superbowl. Nobody will ever really give a shit about that team because they lost to the Giants in the Super Bowl.
By the way, this is the kind of thread that makes Aaron Rodgers go down with a season ending injury, take it easy.
If Rodgers plays the next 9 games then they have a shot but I would think he would get some rest in week 16/17 if they are 14-0. They should beat the Chargers who are really banged up and will probably stay that way when they play. The lions are the other really good team they face and they have had to come from majorly behind 3 times this year. Having to come from behind constantly and having to make big play after big play to get the game manageable again isn't the mark of a great team. The Lions offense is to reliant on Stafford being healthy and playing good, there run game isn't anything special so if Stafford/Best/Megatron are fully healthy vs the Packers I wouldn't be surprised for them to take 1 of the 2 games but i'd always put my money on GB vs Detroit.
