This would be a tremendous game to dominate the Mutt's and could have a nice impact on our continued successful recruiting

14 total player visits, with several holding offers from Oregon without a clear leading school. Several also took official visits to Oregon.

Be nice to dominate early and quiet the home crowd - which I hear isn't a sellout.

I think only three of those players currently hold Oregon offers.

Conversely, if my some miracle Sarkisian pulls out the win, this could be the game people look back on 10 years from now and say, "that was the turning point"

I think it's more of commentary on the different kind of athlete Oregon is recruiting vs UW. Currently not one UW commit has a Duck offer.

    that's an odd factoid.

Most initial guesses would be that UW can't recruit the caliber that Oregon can, but they got guys like Kasen Williams, Bishop Sankey and Austin Sefarian-Jenkins in for this year (and ASJ could play for anyone, anywhere). Is UO recruiting to win college games (not that there's anything wrong with that, but you don't see many 'blur' offenses in the NFL) and UW starting to get kids who want to go a school with a pro-style offense?

As of late UW hasn't had much success recruiting big names outside the state of Washington, all their big names last year had long term connections to Washington program fro

you do see a lot of zone blocking schemes in the NFL though including the Green Bay Packers

guess you didn't pick up on Price doing his own hurry up/'blur' zone read, shotgun looks last night? It also doesnt seem that you're aware that Oregon recruited Keith. Of course UO is recruiting to win college games, but they've also been steadily sending OLineman, WRs, Tight Ends, QBs, Running Backs, DLineman, LBs, and DBs to the league. The last two years they've been recruiting/signing whats regarded as much better talent then they have in the past, so look for this to only increase. Washington obviously has a ways to go to catch up to their rivals from the South. This last Duck win was #8 in a row, next year it's in Autzen and Oregon will have their scholarships lined up much better overall as far as seniority. The next trip to Seattle they'll be trying to make it a decade of dominance :pimp:
