I think this is the first year Robinson will have a full roster of players he recruited. Lets hope that translates into W's!!!!

Looking at their schedule, they should be 10-1 at worst by the time Pac-12 play starts. If they can be above .500 in conference, you've got yourself a 20-win team.

Well clearly these are comparable situations since those predictions were made a month (July) before the football season started, and thus before the year of "a thousand injuries" began; while these predictions from posters are coming in as the basketball season is already underway.

Stop being an doosh (toward the Beaver football) and stick to the sports topic. If I was a moderator I would "delete" your post by stating. "Stick with the right sports topic, please."

I'm a Beaver fan and your constant insults towards the Beaver Football program is uncalled for and its really pissing me off. Stick to the topic at hand you buttnugget.

Don't worry about him. Get ready for what I'll post in the Ducks forum if the NCAA investigation goes down like I think it will... :devilwink:

Duck fans certainly aren't the brightest and it's a bummer they need to show up here. But while we're on that topic, you've got to love the NY Times article about idiot ducks making the pussy sign. I've got to say it's always cracked me up when they make that sign for the television cameras. The article also says 29 players are taking the sign language class to fulfill their foreign language requirement, which is also more than a little bit funny.

EUGENE, Ore. — When University of Oregon football fans cheer their team, they often hold out their hands in the shape of the letter “O,” for Oregon.

If this makes some Ducks players blush, it is because many of them chose sign language to fulfill their foreign language requirement, and in sign language, the fans are saying — screaming, really — the word vagina. Twenty-nine players on the team are enrolled in the university’s American Sign Language program. Their teacher delights in telling them the true meaning of the sign when they form a spade-shaped “O” with their hands.

Not sure if the link will work, but here it is: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/18/s...tml?_r=1&scp=1&sq=university of oregon&st=cse

Edit: if you go to the story, make sure to take a look at the picture. The picture with the stands filled with duck fans making the pussy sign is priceless.

Yeah, we might not hear about the probe until next year. Don't forget the Ducks lost point guard Malcolm Armstead and they are maxed out with their scholarships at 13.

Beavers also signed the following for the 2012-13 season:

3 Star Jarmal Reid, a 6'7 forward from Decatur, Georgia.
3 Star Langston Morris-Walker, a 6'5 forward guard from Berkeley, California
3 Star Maika Ostling, a 6'10 center from Dayton, Oregon. Highlights below.

Actually the sign-language thing is cool, I've been meaning to look for a class to learn.

The 4-0 Beavs upset Texas last night in the semifinal round of the Legends Classic in East Rutherford, NJ...they face #20 Vandy on Monday for the "championship"!

...Cunningham is the best player we've had in the last couple of decades and Collier looks to be a dominant force as well. This is easily the most exciting team that I've seen play Beavers basketball since the 90's. March Madness 2012 or Bust!

The BEAVS are looking good so far. It will be nice to be better than the Ducks in a major sport!

Can we vote to ban Targus from the Beaver forum?

Tonights game vs Vandy is on ESPN3 @ 6:00pm
Is ESPN3 on Comcast or is it the online only ESPN channel? I didnt see it listed on the channel listing on Comcast's website.

ESPN3 is online only. I don't want to ban Targus. I want the Beavs to do well so he has to eat his words!
