Either it's a glaring omission, or Greg Oden isn't as valued as many here seem to think, since he isn't even mentioned as a 'notable free agent' in that article.
To a fan and most analyst who don't pay much attention to the NW Oden isn't anything. Just another injured big from Portland that won't ever make it to anything. To a GM and fans of Portland he is an enticing commodity, a very big risk reward type player. If you believe he is going to be injury prone the rest of his career then you write him off and don't think about him, but if you think there is any ability for him to stay healthy and on the floor then suddenly you have a player thats size and skill set would make him a game changer more so then anyone on the market this year.
