Well, at least we'll get to hear Larry Miller explain how Felton will allow us to play more uptempo... Nevermind the fact that he's at best a mediocre NBA player.

Trail Blazers @pdxtrailblazers Can Blazer fans expect a lot of alley-oops from Felton & Crash this season? Here's a little preview of what's to come
Sometimes, Laker fanboy GMs working for other teams help them out. More often, the player in question makes it clear that's where he wants to go, and makes it clear to other teams he won't play for them if traded for. Always it seems, the league office is all for it. If I had the money and the ego of an owner (ok, just with my existing ego) I'd tell extorting players to fuck off and go sign for the MLE.
Leaving them with a front court built around Bynum, and no way to chase Howard? As a Laker hater, I like that just fine.
I'm much more OK with the Flake Show getting CP3 than Howard. Please, if there is a god, no Howard in LA.
Has anyone explained how Chris Paul and Kobe are going to coexist? When has Kobe ever played with a ball-dominant PG? Or Paul with an ego as massive as Kobe's? I can see Chris Paul really hating Kobe really quickly. I'm also kind of happy that the Lakers are giving up Gasol AND Odom. Odom was very important to them. They are now a hell of a lot less versatile. Assuming this information is correct, this trade alone does not make them capable of beating the Heat.
CP3 will make Bynum (Or Howard) better. Then in the final 2 minute he will watch with everyone else as Kobe takes over. But the bottom line is they are not better unless they do get Howard.
I hate this trade. I was not fond of giving up two of our big 3 for Paul. For Dwight, yes...not for Chris fucking Paul. Who the fuck is going to be our starting PF !?!?!?! Caracter !? Artest !? Walton !? WTF... Does Barkley want to come out of retirement !? My God...maybe once I soak this in I'll like it more but right now...not feeling it. Whatever, we got Pujols and CJ Wilson today so I'll think about this later. As for now, welcome to LA LA land CP3. Hopefully Bynum stays healthy because that is the biggest thing I like about this trade--the potential these two have together in the near future.
And I don't think they'd have given up all their length in Pau and Odom if they didn't feel they had a pretty good chance of also landing Howard. As they are now, I think they got a little easier to play against, but Howard changes everything. I can't believe Bynum would be Orlando's best offer, but I guess players are the new GM's, and Howard can essentially pick his team.
How the hell does Bynum land you Howard !? I don't think it happens. I think NJ's offer of Lopez + picks is now the best offer.
