That's a 30 win team AT BEST (I'm being generous). I think they will still be a cellar dwellar in the league.
Might? They do. Come on...all we have is a mentally fragile Pau and an aging Kobe. By trading Odom, we've put all our chips in Drew to stay healthy and live up to this potential. That's a scary thought. The Clippers will challenge us for the division title and I wouldn't be surprised if they won it.
Love, Beasley, and Williams.........would be interesting to see on the floor at the same time. If that can't happen then Beasely needs to be traded.
Rick needs talent to win games, not just himself (see his Golden State teams) Plus, 30 wins in a 66 game season isn't horrible. It's just 6 games under .500 OR, a 38-44 team in 82 games. If Rick could've gotten that team to win 38 games in a regular 82 game season (which would be a 21 game improvement), and/or Rick can get a team that won 17 games last year to win 13 more games in 16 less games, he deserves COTY The Twolves basically would be improving by 17 games (on a pro-rated scale). Rick is good, but he's not THAT good.
30-36. 6 games. In order to get to .500 from there, in a longer season, they would need to win 6 games, no? So 6 games under .500.
ahahaha Kobe's "..cool." over the the dumb comment of "well Odom's picture on the Mavericks' website, they're really rolling out the red carpet for him" killed me. As well as the "Smush's a bum" comments.
My team is 30-36. We are 6 games below .500. We win 6 games in a row. We are at .500. Every time we win, they don't take away a loss.
