    Anyhow, I think we can both agree that both Ron Paul or whoever is the GOP candidate would be better than Barry Obama.

    Truman, Woodrow Wilson, Lyndon Johnson, Obama, etc. are also to blame for our Militarism.

    Also you are right that some key founders of conservatism have a different approach to foreign policy. But neocons are very socialist with their military interventionism.

    Granted all wars since the civil war and before Gulf War I were Democrats' wars, and troops in Germany and Japan and elsewhere are relics of the cold war and those other wars (Korea).

    See, when I grew up we wrote these things called letters, and it was the style at the time to sign your name at the bottom. I know that's hopelessly old-fashioned to you 18-34 year olds, but then so is having career prospects other than caring for baby boomers at the nursing home.
