Cool story ... but all I said is that I want to see about a month of games until I make up my mind about this team. Of course by saying that I must secretly mean that I hate the team and think they suck right?

I think they've probably held on about year or two, too long. I'd be shocked if they got anything other than an expiring deal and a second rounder at this point -- the wheels look like they're about to fall off. Damn shame.

How are the Clippers really any better than last year's Hornets? And yet you hear title talk here in L.A.? Clippers are overrated.

I like Felton but I'd do that deal in a heartbeat. With Gerald, Batum, and LaMarcus to pass to, Nash would wake up and make one last title run. We could win it all.

You can attack Blake down on the block. His standing reach (8'9") is on par with a SG/SF and has proven, at least so far in his career, to be a huge problem when you body him up in the paint. Neutralizing his leaping ability. For example:

Nothing to extrapolate, except for its good to take care of business early in a lockout shortened season. Every game matters that much more.

Supposedly Durant and Westbrook got into during a timeout during the game against the Grizz. A carry over from the postseason when Westbrook was being a headcase. Cool beans.

Westbrook has a "I wanna be the man too" complex. Probably not the best thing with Durant on the team. I LOVE Aldridge, but Westbrook would be great here, and probably could become our first option.

Felton and a couple of firsts for Westbrook works. Anyone with me?

We'd have to offer a lot more, and salaries will be tricky to match. I would be on the phone with them daily though

I don't think they'll trade Westbrook - Presti seems to be very patient. If they WERE going to trade him, they should've traded him for Chris Paul. Do that and the Thunder are instant title favorites.

As it is, the best trade out there, probably for both sides, is Westbrook for Rondo. Rondo's reunited with his best (only?) buddy, and Durant and Harden are 1 and 2 in the league in scoring!

Meanwhile, Boston gets a start on rebuilding and we get to see KG's head explode watching Westbrook go one on five.

Talking of New Orleans PGs - go Jarrett Jack! He's finally come into his own. Maybe he really WAS Chauncey Billups...

Did Chris Paul agree to stay in Clippers? I don't think he will wait around for this young team to grow. I maybe wrong.

I think the deal was contingent on him accepting his PO for next year. So he'll be there for the year after and then become unrestricted. (If he doesn't sign an extension before then)

I want absolutely NOTHING to do with Russell Westbrook. I may be wrong, but the guy has Stephon Marbury II written all over him. He's a selfish player that doesn't want to share the spotlight with a better franchise player. Remember how Marbury forced his way out of Minnesota because he could stand to be second fiddle to Kevin Garnett? It wasn't just a coincidence that every time Marbury got traded the team that traded him got better and the team he went to got worse. Maybe Westbrook will grow out it it, but right now I see a whole lot of Marbury in him, and that's never a good thing.

Woah very good comparison! But one could argue that Westbrook is much better than Marbury all around. But I love the attitude comparison.

Because of Paul's knee he probably doesn't have the potential Westbrook does.
