I think it's a good thing. With the exception of Thomas and Camby; all the other players are closer to the late 20's early 30's. Nothing wrong with that IMO, if you want to win now.

He's alright, although a little injury prone.

For the minimum I wouldn't mind I guess.

just saw on twitter that Lamarcus retweeted TJ Ford saying that the twitter handle of kenyon martin was a fake ID and that no one should follow him or talk to him..... sooo don't know what that means for getting him.

I don't know for sure which team is the oldest, but the Lakers have 8 guys on their active roster, and 7 in their top 10, 31 years old and older. Most of those guys will be between 32 and 37 by the time the playoffs are here - assuming the Lakers actually make the playoffs. McRoberts has been getting the most minutes of any player under 31 on their roster so far, but his minutes will likely decrease now that Bynum, their only other significant young player, is back from his suspension.

Wow, I must really be behind the times, I took that to mean:

Still hoping this could be a possibility. I know it was a false convo; but the idea of a K-mart is JUST SMART! He is a energy guy, banger and tough guy. He maybe a "Thug"; but not one that has off court antics. I think we need more interior post scoring. Something that needs to be spread out between Aldridge and another player. Watching Craig Smith play the post for a couple games made me realize just how important it truly is.

I'd love this move, I really think this team is one good post player away from truly contending for a title. Could PA be persuaded into spending deeper into the Luxury tax to acquire one more piece?

Well if we go with what he said publicly, than that's a "No". He said he doesn't plan on spending any money in Luxury tax in the future. I think if we contend, he may. The possibility to win a ring is everything to him.

Craig Smith has been efficient in the paint when we've played him. Kurt Thomas is hitting an insane percentage, I believe, with his midrange J. Unless people get hurt, I think we're fine with who we have.

We could use another center, but not K-Mart. I don't see him adding anything to this team.
