I'm too lazy to look up his name but there's a PF rookie for the Knicks who has filled in nicely. Had a double double and hit 4 threes a couple nights ago.

As for surprises, the leading MIP award candidate, to me, is clearly the aforementioned Ryan Anderson. Where the helll did he come from? He's one of the top scorers in the league so far.

Anderson has been very impressive. We argued about him here a while ago about whether he was a "throw-in" in the Vince Carter deal and whether Courtney Lee was a superior prospect. Another case of "I was right"-itis. I need to savor these victories as the come, given how few and far between they are :)

Hey Ed - how're you feeling about Bayless these days? If you want to check in on him, he's down there at 173 - 2 spots below Steve Blake.

josh harrelson.... which is weird because he didn't shoot 3 pointers in Kentucky... i kinda wanted to grab him late in the draft... reminded me of joel.... but that could just be because he was white haha

    Greg Monroe!

(The Pistons were hoping for FINALLY Rodney Stuckey, or failing that, Brandon Knight, who has been exceptional only in having the worst rate of getting to the line in the entire NBA - so much for my first post in this thread.)

Yeah, I've always like Monroe a ton. He's a great passer for a big man and ran the Princeton offense to perfection at Georgetown. Quiet, not flashy, but the dude is a going to be a great PF.
