    Hasn't been the first time a player ran the coach out of town. I don't know about hiring him. He hasn't been good since coaching the Suns.

    I don't think it was DeMarcus Cousins that got Westphal canned. It was my "Didn't You Used To Be Tyreke Evans" post. Fear me.

    (I'd like to think it was the fact that he's a total dickwad who brought Rush Limbaugh in as a motivational speaker when he was coaching the Suns. But I guess they must've known that when they hired him.)

    Granted the timing was poor, but Westphal was never a good coach, and if it's a choice between a GM giving up on basically every player he's drafted or canning the coach, it's an easy choice.

    Uh... no. Have you seen them play? All they do is take turns going one on one.

    Interesting stat that's been bandied about on twitter over the past week: In 7 games, no single King player has had more than 4 assists in a game.

    That is one sad offense.

    Edit: actually, a fair amount of the time the coach gets fired and the player
    gets traded, so they both lose... unless the player is traded to a contender,
    which has definitely happened.
