Sounds like you know you weren't really contributing, and are just trying to divert attention from that.
I said no. I answered the question, just like he did. I don't understand why all the fuss? He said to ask him in May. I said no. I think some of you are a little too obsessed with my posts
A laugh for sure. Sorry for being mean to you, just seems you go out of your way to put down this team.
See, this is a useful post (unlike mine right now but whatevs). Just saying "No" isn't adding anything. For my part, I agree; unless we get really lucky, we're not getting to the finals. But, the west is INSANE right now. Anything could happen, and we are better than we were last year on the whole.
I just don't believe in people getting bashed for keeping it simple. Especially someone who has made their views known to all and also gets bashed when they are repeated. It's like a no win. Anything could happen though. I posted in one of the threads that Portland will have a punchers chance. I think teams will eventually stop our leak break and then it comes down to our half court sets which, IMO, are still a joke. Better, but just no
I'm going to try to help out here. I get you don't like being bashed. I also understand the difference between bashing NBA players and people associated with the NBA vs. bashing posters. But when you bash Blazers on a Blazer board (often unjustified, in some posters opinion) and those bashes are often harsh and continuous . . . do you see how posters might be tempted to bash on you? I know I like/love our Blazers. I know I often think your bashing/name calling is unwarranted and that I will have to read about it in almost every thread I go through, so part of me wants to bash back and quite frankly break down to your level. Inheritently that means name calling and sometimes when you breakdown to that level, it really doesn't matter if it a Blazer or a poster who is getting bashed. (matters when it comes to baord rules but not when it comes to the poster making the post) But come on MM, if you can dish it out, just be ready to take it. Not a big deal . . .
I think it's wrong that you don't think there is a difference between bashing a poster than bashing a Blazer employee. And once again, please keep in mind that this all started when I answered no to the question proposed. That's all I said, No. No bashing, no anything other than a two letter answer to a question.
Well, again right or wrong, I beleive most of your posts are read as a negative twist/shot on the Blazers. So a "no" from others doesn't read the same way a "no" from you does. Maybe that isn't fair or right, but that is the reality you created on this board. But again what's the big deal. You are free to say what you want and if you are going to say it in the manner you do, have some thinck skin for those who cross the line every now and then.
So basically, regardless of what I type, even if it it is a simple "yes or no", I should expect backlash from others because I am negative. To me, and a mod can correct me if I am wrong, that doesn't seem to follow the rules of the forum. As for thick skin, I have it. In the real world, I couldn't give a fuck what any of you say because I don't know any of you. We are all forum geeks talking about our favorite team. In the forum, however, I feel there is a bit of a double standard when it comes to forum etiquette. Me posting something about the team, should in no way lead to someone posting something about me. Just like when some myopic lemming posts stuff talking heads like Mike and Mike say, I shouldn't post something about them. Again, I answered no. Nothing more to it, and it has escalated to this, and for some unknown reason it continues. Probably will continue because more people will pile on with their opinions about me answering a question by saying no
