No I get that, I don't agree with it. I still think 6.5-7.5 should be the threshold.

This guy will blossom. Barely older then Luke, Nolan and Elliot! We can't afford to lose him in my opinion.

I guess it all depends on the kind of year he ends up having. Right now, he's doing two things at an elite level for the small forward position. That's block shots (and his overall defense is pretty good too) and shoot the three ball ... teams will frequently pay a premium for a guy who can do that.

He's also ignored on offense despite being more than adequate doing things other than shooting threes. Teams will scout that and pay him accordingly.

Yeah I know, I was just talking about those things that are most tangible and easy to bank on.

I must admit that his defensive is very impressive this season. His blocks are "star quality". He keeps that up, he will demand much more.

lot of guys got overpaid this last FA, just think that a lot more teams have a lot more money this coming summer. Nic is young and still has good upside, I think my numbers are about right and we could easily have to pay 9-10 mil per yr if he gets to be an RFA

    33.7 0.498 0.423 0.847 0.7 3.0 3.6 2.4 0.5 0.4 1.03 2.22 12.6 those are Afflalo's numbers when he recently got paid 5 yrs 43 mil. Nic has significantly less minutes right now and compares very well

Nic averages better numbers than Afflalo in fewer minutes while being 3 years younger. He should be paid more than AA.
