Ben Wallace is the starting PF for the Pistons?

My god. Tomorrow should be easy. That roster is horrendous.

Do NBA refs have some kind of running inside joke on how they can screw the Blazers every game? I have never in my life seen a player not get a foul called when they are body checked to the floor on a wide open lay up. WTBF? The ref who swallowed his whistle on that should be castrated.

I think the Blazers should think about starting Batum, and bring Wallace off the bench to play fewer minutes. It seems that his body can't take it or something.....maybe he'd play better in shorter stints.

Would you be more impressed if we lost to them by 10?

Are we #1 again yet? ;)

But seriously -- road win! That's all good by me.

Any win is a good win this season. Anything is possible and 1 loss can mean 3rd to 8th. U never know

I honestly believe its because we are too weak attacking the basket a lot of the time. It was the reason why LMA never got any calls the last few years, his soft style of play. And when our offense is off, which seems to be more often than not, we take a lot of bad, contested shots that are hard to officiate. I actually think the Blazers are hard to Ref.

I agree, and give the Frenchie some burn, get him in the NBA groove. He could be few minutes away from a breakout game/season. Plus Wallace would make an awesome Beast/Energy guy off the bench.

Although the Wallace driving breakaway, when he was really bumped. I mean a blind man could have called that. No conspiracy IMO, but that was one of the most obvious calls to make. I mean it was just Wallace and the guard that fouled him.

You must have missed game 7, 2000 WCF, crucial point late in the game, Steve Smith getting crushed to the floor in that exact scenario, ref staring at the play, whistle sticking out of his mouth like a David Stern dildo, no call. Steve looked at the ref like, "Oh, that's how it is, you aren't going to let us win, are you?" Or, depending on your pain threshold, maybe you have amnesia. :)

Agreed. That's one of the worst non-calls I've ever seen.

I thought DeMar looked good. Possibly better than Wesley Matthews.
