What? He made a catch and shoot. You can't give it to him and let him create an opportunity for himself.
A strange barometer. I don't think Dwight Howard can create his own shots, and Andrew Bynum might have more moves than him too. I think we know who is more consistent.
What are you talking about? Howard can create his own shots. Did the see the game? Love and Griffin had trouble scoring on each other in post up isolations. This is defence from Kevin Love and Blake Griffin......in single coverage.
Too bad it is 2012, because we know how to keep track of production against good defenses. Kevin Love had a 120 offensive rating against above average defenses last year. And yeah right, Dwight barely has any post moves. Bynum looks more natural in the post and the figures seem to support that. Dwight is better overall.
And, what? Is a 120 offensive rating going to help Love score when the Wolves need a basket? Love is a good scorer, great, but he gets his points in the flow of the offence. He doesn't dictate the flow of the offence like Aldridge does. He doesn't have a go to move, and he certainly won't command many double teams. But its okaay, he's young and he'll improve. It doesn't matter that Bynum has better post moves. I know he has better post moves. Point is, you can throw it into Dwight and there's a good chance you'll come out with some points. Same with Aldridge, and to a lesser extent Griffin. I don't see that ability with Love.
And what is your evidence that this is true? Btw, it is normally said "offense" and "defense". This doesn't help your case at all. You just admitted Bynum has better go-to-moves. Your argument isn't making any sense now.
Do you watch the Wolves? Love gets his points by being deep in the post already when he gets the ball or open jumpers. He has a few moves down low but nothing great and he has a hard time moving himself into the post. He hardly ever gets doubled and his defense consists of him not really getting moved into the post, no real help defense or anything other then rebounding for him. I'll add something to the Bynum/Howard thing, Bynum doesn't get as many touch's as Howard and doesn't go to the line near as much. The offense doesn't move threw Bynum on the Lakers and if it did he would put up better numbers offensively then Howard, defensively there is a big gap though.
Screamin A at his finest going off about the Knicks. There's no real substance to it. It's just funny.
Maybe they are good? I don't think people truly understand how important Hibbert is to them. Looking at his stats, you wouldn't think so. I think he's a very important cog; especially when they play on the road.
What the hell does New York expect? They went and signed two offensive black holes to be their franchise cornerstones and completely gutted their team to get them. It's comforting to me when bad things happen to dumb people like Dolan.
Agree 100% But help is on the way... Baron Davis! http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/sto...ron-davis-first-full-practice-new-york-knicks
