Well, luckily there is an alternative to Obama's consistency. Mitt Romney can be depended upon to have a different message every time. barfo
Yeah, but perhaps moving with the flow might prove to be a bit more productive than saying the same thing over and over and (seemingly) expecting different results.
Funny that this thread says he's too consistent. A main piece of Republican propaganda in the last 15 years has been to accuse Democrats of waffling and flip-flopping. If only Obama WERE a consistent liberal. If only he had stopped Bush's Orwellian foreign torture and domestic electronic spying. His problem is that he's INconsistent with liberals, not too consistent.
The same joke could be made about their income. I'm fairly certain she works a lot harder than he does.
There are three kinds of work. Hard work, team work, and smart work. The latter is most productive and likely most valuable.
The top 1% of the pyramid thinks it can exist without the bottom 99% supporting it. The top actually has the nerve to claim that it supports the bottom.
They ARE the workers, and they build the factories. Do you think the rich guys build the factories? Do you think this site could function with only you and not us posters? Could Blazer management draw fans without players, and could it make money without fans? The top of the pyramid thinks it floats without the bottom. You need an acid trip to discover that the conscious mind is 1% of the mind. You'd be amazed at how much is going on in your subconscious mind, supporting the royal conscious mind which thinks that it acts independently.
I think the relationship is symbiotic. Painting a house might make $10K, but it is really hard work and you might go months between jobs. The guy who figures out how to keep many house painters employed year round adds huge value. If h charges each house painter $100/mo., gets the painters 12 jobs a year, and does it for 1M house painters, he's going to make a LOT of money in comparison. The house painters gladly pay the $100 to earn 2x.
I think most people would think that he will be. Its his race to lose. He's very iconic and marketable.
....and actually got shit done while being stonewalled throughout. Republicans never wanted him to succeed from the get go.
Its a system of checks and balances. Yes, he did spend a lot of money and increase our debt to new heights.
Things appear to be turning because the republican blocked his proposals that would have made the problems worse. Nothing, and tax cuts from the start and we would be much further along in the recovery by now. The signature achievements of his first term are an unpopular health care program, a mountain of new debt, a 25% bigger govt., our homes underwater, higher unemployment, and a slew of broken promises. But he got Bin Laden!
