Thats 2 significant losses for them. Bells easily their best defender/3 pt shooter and Jefferson has been a monster this year. Contain Milsap and Harris and it should be a win.
Good for the Blazers and bad for my prediction game entry. This is why I should never make a prediction so early in the day.
Here we go again. We play a team with key pieces missing and we always seem to play horrible in that situation and get killed by some bench player. Here is to hoping for change!
last year cj miles hit 30 threes in the 4th qtr their bench lacks fire power though..... as long as we keep milsap around 22... we should be fine
Where are you finding this reported? I see where Bell left the last game (sounded like he'd probably play tonight) but haven't seen anything on Jefferson.
Jefferson being out is significant but Bell sucks so bad on offense and is a shell of his former self on defense; they're far better off with Alec Burks soaking up those minutes.
Is Camby playing tonight? ESPN has Kurt Thomas listed as the starting C, but I don't know if that means anything. (They do list Jefferson as starting.)
Two Jazz starters missed the game and we still got blown out 35-16* between the mid-3rd quarter and the mid-4th. It wasn't because of the two guys who replaced them. Josh Howard and Derrick Favors had lousy games. McMillan pointed the finger at his lazy players, not himself. "We simply got outworked." That's not how I saw it. Our players busted their butts within his vague, unsharp, unhelpful system. *scores: 63-52 5:31 left in the 3rd, Portland led 87-79 4:13 left in the 4th, Utah led
