Right now, I'd even take Steve Blake over Felton! How sad is that?!?!?

I certainly think he's better than Failton.

people do always seem to like the players they trashed when they were here after they are gone, and a replacement is playing poorly.
Probably be mid-December next season when people will talk about missing Felton and or Crawford, I am guessing.

It really is amazing to me that he's turned out to be the best PG of ANY we've had since... Damon (I suppose Andre for a very brief period)?

What's even more amazing, is that his game really hasn't developed much beyond what he brought us here. He's still the same Jarrett Jack, and yet we've not been able to get better production from the most important position on the court... rather telling I think.

I think the issue is giving up on just about every person at PG after a season, season and a half or so, it seems. it's almost like an NFL team going through 5 QBs in 7 years.

No, let's stop settling for mediocrity. Try to develop a younger guy or trade fro someone really good.

He's Failton with a shot. I'd swap them up front, but nothing more than that.

Both drive me crazy though, so I'm not too thrilled if we get him.

Not sure crazy is a strong enough adjective?

I have always hated his game. It would be a marginal upgrade. No need for that.

Jarrett Jack is NOT "Felton with a shot". However much we're hatin' Felton right now, he's still a better PG than Jack. Jack is a better SG than Felton, but then, right now, just about every NBA player is.

Our coach liked Taurean Green more than Miller or Jack.

So true. I remember the bashing that Jack used to take from fans on Blazer message boards, and in terms of a sluggish PG, you're not going to find a worse fit for an up-tempo offense than Jack.

I didn't mind him at all, and I'm not kidding at all when I say that Jack was and is a great fit for the offense that McMillan prefers to run.

Of course, when the Pace goes back to the 29th or 30th in the NBA, will people again be calling for a more up-tempo team, which is what they have now?

JJ wasn't a particularly good PG, but he was more consistent than Failton. Also, he didn't out and out give games away down the stretch. I'll take that any day over what we have now- without regret.

Yes, I really miss him stepping out of bounds every time he sets up for a corner 3.
