    Never stops . . . now instead of having complications and a slower recovery time than expected post surgery, GO has taken it to a new level and has complication pre-surgery.

    I thought he was running and biking and almost ready for light contact. Now we learn he isn't even healthy enough to have arthroscopic surgery . . . and yet I wonder in the back of my mind if he will play for the Blazer again, I need help.

    my mom was on blood thinners for 3 months to get rid of the blood clots in her leg when she broke her ankle.... not saying its going to take three months but could be that long i suppose...

    Clem and I solved the problem. We led old Oden out to the pasture and shot him. Ebenezer's burying him before the horseflies find him.

    So it's very likely that the Blazers may never see Oden in a Blazer uniform again. I wonder if he will even play in the NBA anymore?

    Yeah I was just coming here to comment on this. Do you think he'll play for us next season? Or even this season? If it's just debris it shouldn't be that hard to recover....

    Well they said he is unlikely to return this season. I don't expect him to want to come back since his history here was a mess.

    Funny thing is, when we drafted him, there was a small little fear in the back of everyone's minds that we could be drafting the next "Sam Bowie", but now I wish Oden could be Sam Bowie. At least Sam gave a few quality seasons.

    I believe Oden, if didn't have these injury problems, would have been at least a Dwight Howard level player. Ahh the blazers.....this franchise is cursed.

    My only thought is this

    So far Brandon and KP have both come out and said that the Blazers knew how bad Roy's knees were when they extended him. They also knew how bad Oden's knees were when they extended a QO to him. While it was reduced a ton, why even pay these guys a dime? It seems like a total waste of money and makes absolutely no business sense. Doesn't make basketball sense either because they might have been able to use the money on a FA, trade or just a healthy body for practice? Maybe they could have found their own Jeremy Lin?

    Oden will sign with Miami in the offseason, and will be a starter by this time next year. By 2014, he and Lebron will be recognized as the most physically imposing duo in league history.

    A couple years later, Blake Griffin will join them. The rest of the league will tremble in fear.

    IIRC, this is the knee that the Blazers had concerns about a ligament, correct? If so, it will be interesting to hear what the results of this arthroscopic surgery are.

    Miami already has Juwan Howard, so this is eminently credible. I just hope that when Oden re-signs with Miami for the max, ESPN gives him an hour show to announce The Decision.
